5Rhythms^® Waves level workshop

In our 5Rhythms practice, taking some time to let go of destination, struggle, comparison, outdated identities, and trying too hard. As we follow Gabrielle Roth’s dance maps with curiosity, we take a path of adventure, leading towards mystery.

The spacious and healing aspects of the Stillness Rhythm can open to us at any point in the Wave. For the sake of our nervous systems, and our creativity, let’s welcome this embodied emptiness and peace of mind.

ABOUT 5RHYTHMS

Created by the American artist Gabrielle Roth (1941-2012) and practiced by tens of thousands worldwide, 5Rhythms® is a philosophy, perspective, performance art and a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. 

Movement is both the medicine and the metaphor, reaching across all languages, cultures and age groups to transform suffering into art, art into awareness, and awareness into action. 

Wherever the 5Rhythms are practiced, a community is born to dance, to sweat, to change, to support, and to provide a safe space for each of us to shatter the ego’s hold and awaken the juicy, unpredictable, fascinating, edge-walking, rock star part of ourselves that yearns to be free.

I love my work. My home rhythm is flowing lyrical – a sky girl finding her ground. Dancing brings mystery and imagination into form and connects deep dreaming with flesh and bone. I’m the first teacher after Gabrielle Roth and Jonathan Horan to teach ‚God, Sex & the Body‚ – the healing archetypal maps. I am teaching since 1997.

Mentoring has been a part of my practice for years – I have mentored 5Rhythms teachers through the Waves and Heartbeat trainings, and over time after graduating. ​I am known for having a lot of ideas, and strategies to embed them in the dance maps, bringing out individuality and encouraging leadership.

I live in beautiful West Wales, and enjoy teaching in cities and retreat centres internationally. I’m forever grateful to my Raven Sister Gabrielle, who taught me about spirit embodied, generosity and that there is no limit to love.
